and apple a day

I know this is completely unrelated to fashion, but these apples really make me smile.

I spotted them in a London M&S and couldn't resist taking a photo.

Can't figure out how they actually got the picture on the apples, one of those little mysteries.

Don't worry, an outfit post is coming along soon.

talons

Dress - Maurie&Eve, Necklace - Fashionology, Bag - Litlle shop in Ibiza, Heels - H&M

Another horrible rainy day in England. Luckily I managed to find a tiny bit of shelter under a little ledge of this old building.

As you can see, my hair curly. This is actually how my hair dries when I haven't blow-dried it, but I normally save it for summertime because walking around in the winter weather with wet hair would not be the best of ideas..

grey and silver

Here's the dress I picked up from the London Fashion Weekend and the Fashionology necklace that my boyfriend got me for our two year anniversary.

That necklace is a serious weapon, it's so sharp that we've already had one minor injury from it.

I managed to get a tenner knocked off the price of this dress because there was a small make up stain where someone else had tried it on, which I was very chuffed about. I love the spike buttons on the wrist that add a little edge to an otherwise simple dress.

This is also a sneak peak at tomorrow's outfit.

burnt orange

Blazer, Jeans - Zara, Boots, Ring - ASOS, Jumper - H&M

Here's how I wore my beloved new orange jeans, that have the power to brighten up even the dreariest of English days. I accessorized it with a must have for rainy days; an umbrella.

london fashion weekend

Here's a small (in comparison to the rest I have) collection of photographs from the London Fashion Weekend on Sunday.

I had a lovely day enjoying cocktails and fingering through clothes rails. Some of the stalls had the most beautiful clothes and accessories, I was really sad when they kicked us out at 6pm and I hadn't even looked at everything there was to see.

The only thing I didn't like were the rooms with unwanted pieces from four seasons ago, all of it was a bunch of crap they were just trying to flog off for silly prices. I was also a little disappointed with the show bag, when you pay £5 you expect to get more than useless samples of mouthwash and coffee.

I managed to get really lucky for the catwalk and ended up right at the end by the start of the runway, so I've got lots of lovely photographs without any heads bobbing up in the middle.
The looks were all a mixture of designer's pieces all put together and styled for this seasons trends. The Mark Fast collection at the end was definitely my highlight.

Later on in the week I'll show you what I picked up and then I'm also hoping to do some features on some of the designers I saw.

peace out.

newly purchased

Jeans - Zara, Shoes - Topshop, Jumper - H&M

As promised, a look at the items I've bought in London this week. These infamous trousers that took me several days to finally get have been cheering me up from the grisly weather.

There will be a definite outfit post with these babies coming soon.

Today I'm lucky enough to get a look around Capital Fm and sit in on one of the shows, I'll let you know how it goes.

following the herd

Shirt - Zara, Skirt, Boots - ASOS, Belt - H&M, Sunglasses - RayBan (boyfriend's)

Here's what I wore yesterday. Sorry about the repeat use of this road, but it's hard enough to get  my man to take photo's, let alone to move more than 2 meters away from his house to do so.

Had a right mare of a day trying to get a pair of trousers. I bought one pair the other day, then took them back the next day and exchanged them for a different pair, then decided I preferred the original ones, so today I had to travel to three different shopping spots in London just to track down said trousers.

Anyway, you'll get a peak at what I bought soon enough.

lfw outfit

Blazer, Clutch - H&M, Jeans - Zara, Tee - Forever 21, Shoes - Ted Baker, Necklace - Made by me.

Here's my outfit from tuesday at London Fashion Week, not the most practical for mooching around in the cold British winter. Cue cold wrists and cold toes.

I'm very proudly wearing the necklace I made recently, and I'll show it in a bit more detail later on in the week. I was over the moon when someone asked me where it was from and I could tell them it was my own creation.

Amongst the photos is one of me with Jess, a fellow blogger, who I met up with for the first time on the day. I've always thought I was quite an average size, but she makes me look almost midget-like. I swear I'm not that diddy, she's just very tall.

Peace out.
